ASBESTOS RISK ASSESSMENTS
What types of asbestos assessments are there?
There are two types of asbestos risk assessments – Division 5 Workplace Surveys & Risk Assessments and Division 6 Hazardous Materials Assessments
Division 5 Workplace Survey and Risk Assessments
The regulations state “the person with management or control of a workplace must identify asbestos containing materials and produce an asbestos register, with the details of the location, form, type and condition of the asbestos”
Identifibre can carry out this assessment, known in Victoria as a Division 5 Asbestos in the Workplace Safety and Risk Assessment in a timely, accurate and cost effective manner.
Division 6 Hazardous Material Assessment
Hazardous materials risk assessments and detail the location and condition of asbestos and other hazardous materials that may be disturbed during demolition or refurbishment works on a building, structure, ship or plant where asbestos is fixed or installed.

ASBESTOS AWARENESS TRAINING
Our Asbestos Awareness Training Course provides guidance on identifying asbestos containing materials and how to work safely where asbestos may be suspected or confirmed.
